Abstract

The purpose of this study is to systematize the linguistic characteristics of this subsystem of the English language, using the linguoculturological approach to the study of the lexical composition of youth slang, to identify structural and functional features that reflect the specifics of the worldview of its speakers and are fully manifested in the language of modern journalism, focused on youth audience.
