Abstract

China became a member of the World Trade Organization in 2001, which has had a significant impact on its economic development and integration into the global trading system. This article analyzes a number of measures that China took to join the WTO, revised a number of laws and achieved corresponding results. As for Uzbekistan, joining the WTO could have similar consequences and benefits.
