Abstract

: Thyrotoxicosis syndrome is characterized by a rather severe course, often leading to the
development of pathological changes in many body systems (cardiovascular, reproductive, and
others), as well as an aggravation of the course of concomitant diseases, and often severe clinical
symptoms that significantly worsen the quality of life of patients. In addition, thyrotoxicosis syndrome
is widespread - according to various epidemiological studies, overt thyrotoxicosis was observed in
0.5% of the adult population aged 12 to 80 years, and subclinical - in 0.8% of cases.
