Abstract

The most common and aggressive factors affecting engineering structures is water. It contributes to a decrease in the strength properties of most materials, the development of corrosion processes in metals and concrete, decay of wood, the appearance of cracks, mold and dampness, and the collapse of the protective layers of structures. When waterproofing, operational, technological and economic factors are taken into account. The considered main aspects of the reliable waterproofing device.
