FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF TECHNOLOGY PARK DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Sophia Antipolis, an initiative to create the largest French technology park, the most efficient and developmentally indicative in Europe, has formed the Sophia Antipolis Association to buy land for the construction of a technology park from a private person, not from the state. However, the newly formed association soon collapsed, the scale of the event proved to be too important for private financing: there was a need to build new roads, buildings and other infrastructure.
